Day 1 : Pick up and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On the 1st day of the 3 days gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking in Rwanda, a representative guide from Kapo Tours will connect with you at Kigali Airport and he will transfer you for a tour un Kigali city. You will head to Kigali genocide memorial which carries the history of the 1994 Rwanda genocide and its remains. You will learn about the events of the Rwanda genocide from the guides at this place and you will get the opportunity to your around as you set s glimpse at the items that are kept at Kigali genocide memorial. You will after set off from this place with the guide to a hotel and you have lunch.
After lunch at a hotel in Kigali, a guide will transfer you to Musanze caves where you will get to see the bats that hang upside down in these caves. The caves are significant in the history of Rwanda because they were once a crowning place for the kings of Rwanda and a shelter to the refugees after the 1994 Rwanda genocide. It takes a visitor about 2 hours to tour around the caves and you trek through the tunnels. By the end of the 2 hours, you will have gone through a great and wonderful experience at the caves. After the guide will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park and you get a lodge, freshen up and you have dinner. You will then retire to bed.

Day 2 : Gorilla trekking and hike to Dian Fossey Tomb
On the 2nd day of the 3 days gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking in Rwanda, you will have breakfast at the lodge and you will head to the park headquarters will the guide and they briefing you on how to conduct a gorilla trekking activity. You will then trek to the forest to find the gorillas of which you will be rewarded an hour to stay and associate with them after locating them. You will get awareness about how they behave through observations and information from the guide. You will then have the chance to do some photography with strict guidelines. On your gorilla trek, you will come across a number of animals and birds including various tree types and there after, a guide will transfer you to the lodge and you eat lunch and rest.
A guide will meet you at the lodge in the afternoon and transfer you to the park headquarters and you will receive guidelines from the park wardens before you set off for a hike to Dian Fossey Tomb. You will hike to Dian Fossey Tomb with hiking sticks and a ranger guide will accompany you. You will meet a number of wildlife as you trek to Dian Fossey Tomb. Once you get there, you will be able to spot where Dian Fossey was buried and there are also other graves of the gorillas. You will be taken through a brief session about the history of this places and that of the gorillas. A guide will then transfer you to the lodge for dinner and you retire to bed.
Day 3 : Golden monkey trekking and transfer to Kigali airport
On the 3rd day of the 3 days gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking in Rwanda, you will have breakfast at the lodge in volcanoes national park. A guide will meet you at the lodge after breakfast and transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing. The park wardens will give you information on what you are supposed to do and not do while carrying out a golden monkey trek. You will then be allocated a ranger guide who will accompany you to the golden monkey trek. You will spend a number of hours while trying to find the golden monkeys and after finding them you will be allocated with only one hour to spend with these primates. You will then take videos and pictures of them in their habitats as the guide explains to you how they behave in terms of feeding, playing and associating with people. The guide will then transfer you to the lodge and you have lunch.
You will check out of the lodge and the guide will drive you to Kigali airport with a stopover at Kimironko market. At Kimironko, you will get to meet and greet with the locals in the market and they will show you a number of items that they sell in the market. Some of the items include handbags, earrings, bracelets, art pieces, clothes among others. You will buy those of your interest and they then guide will drop you off at the airport.
