4 Days Uganda Gorilla And Chimpanzee Safari
This is a 4 days Uganda gorilla and chimpanzee safari that will take you to Kibale National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for primate viewing. You will get to Kibale National Park on the first day of this Uganda safari, and you will spend the night at the lodge. You will go for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park on day 2 of the safari and also visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a swamp walk. You will go for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and that will be done on the last day of the safari. On day 3 of the safari, you will have a cultural tour to the Batwa community.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe Airport and transfer to Kibale National Park
At Entebbe Airport, you will link up with our Chopper Tour and Travel representative guide, who will explain to you the details of this Uganda safari. You will then set off to Kibale National Park. You will have an en route lunch in Fort Portal town as you head to Kibale National Park. You will also visit the Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves and get to know the history attached to them. You will then get to Kibale National Park, arriving in the evening, and you will check into a lodge. Dinner will be served, and you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
You will have breakfast in the morning at the lodge, and then you will go for a briefing at the park headquarters. You will then go for chimpanzee trekking with an armed ranger guide. You will take about 30 minutes to 4 hours searching for the chimpanzees. After spotting them, you will have only one hour with them, and you will be allowed to take pictures of them as you observe them feed, play and much more. The guide will drive you back to the lodge.
Lunch will be served to you at the lodge, and then you will go for a Bigodi swamp walk at around 3 pm. You will have views of several primates, birds and many more. You will have amazing landscape views and vegetation covers. You will return to the lodge for dinner and retire to bed.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and a visit to the Batwa cultural village
Breakfast will be served in the morning, and after that, you will check out of the lodge. You will meet with the driver guide, who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and you will check into a lodge. Lunch will be served, and then you will rest at the lodge.
You will leave the lodge in the afternoon, and you will go for a cultural experience in the Batwa community. You will learn about the Batwa people in terms of their traditions, cultural practices and their history. You will learn how they prepare their local dishes, and they will also teach you about their ancient hunting and food-gathering skills. You will return to the lodge, have dinner, and retire to bed.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking and transfer back to Entebbe Airport
In the morning, breakfast will be served, and then you will be transferred to the park headquarters, where you will be briefed. You will meet with the park wardens, who will give you the guidelines to follow while Uganda gorilla trekking. You will leave to head to the forest with an armed ranger guide. You will start searching for the gorillas, and depending on their location, it may take you about 30 minutes to 7 hours. You will have one hour with the Uganda gorillas after finding them, and you will make your observations of the gorillas. You will be returned to the lodge, and you will be served lunch.
You will check out of the lodge after lunch, and you will embark on the journey back to Entebbe Airport.
